10 Months Old

The kids are now 10 months old. 2 More months until they are a a year old. I can't stand it! They are growing way too fast. I weighed them and measured them all, so it is not official, but I think we're close. Lily weighs 20lbs. and is 30 inches long. What a big girl, huh? No wonder it is taking so long for her to crawl. She has a lot of weight to carry around. She is still doing the army crawl, but is up on all fours rocking.

Sarah weighs 16 lbs. and is 27 inches long. She is finally up on all fours and rocking. She is still trying to sit up all the time though. Those abs must be like steel. She seems to get frustrated very easily when she cannot do something. She has started to feed herself though. She gets mad when you don't let her help with the spoon.

Ava is starting to catch up! She now weighs 15 1/2 lbs. and is 26 1/2 inches long. Looks like the only difference between Ava and Sarah is a half an inch/lb.! She is still crawling around and pulling herself up. By the way, she was also the first one to sit up, or should I say sit down. I'm not sure if that one counts. No one has actually just sat up from a laying position. She is also standing in her crib and she still loves sucking on her thumb!

Luke weighs 20lbs and is 28 1/2 inches long. He is worming his way all around. He is very quick. He looks like an inch worm, but faster. He hasn't quite got the hands moving with the feet yet, but he will any day now. He is a first for something! He beat Ava on something. He is the first one to clap! Yay Luke -E- Doo!

My Aunt Susanne, Uncle John, and cousin Sean left town on Monday morning and headed to Clearwater for vacation. We'll miss you! Thanks for all your help. I'm sure we'll see you again soon!

Daddy is working hard and when he is not, he spend lots of time on the floor playing with the kids. He had been so busy that he hadn't shaved......at least that's the excuse I was giving him. He was actually trying out a beard. He finally shaved last night, thank goodness. As you can see in the picture below, the kids love to play with him and Ava loves to climb all over him.

I officially started back to work on Monday. It was a sad say for me, but good too. I miss the kids terribly, but am happy to get back to work and help provide for the kids. I am exhausted though. The day never seems to end until the kids are in bed asleep around 8:30 pm and I don't last much longer that that. It's pretty sad to tell you the truth, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Below is some video of the kids. Enjoy. I'm lucky that I get to see it everyday! Make sure to pause the the music before you watch!

So precious! I have been following your blog for a while now and found you through Suz, Jen, and Gen. WoW...I am impressed that you are going back to work, but am also so proud of you too. It takes real dedication to be a teacher plus with four little ones at home; I am amazed!
Good luck when school offically starts :)
